Hi Bob! Thank you for reading.
We put it in back of our truck and plug it into an alternate source. Maybe I'll be brave some day like with plugging in my computer. I'm so dern fussy about my electronics. lol Thank you for the welcomed advice. :-)

I always wanted to say that...
I have a 4,000-Watt generator (two of them, actually), so your review made for interesting reading. Do I infer that you do not plug this into your house? It's actually fairly easy to do that, as long as you absolutely, positively turn off the main breaker prior to applying power. Be careful and check this two or three times, since you could endanger the life of electric company workers otherwise.
Don't worry about running your computer (laptop or desktop) off your generator. These have highly filtered and regulated power supplies, and they are unaffected by power-line noise. A TV is usually not so well regulated but I've never had any trouble with mine.
Good review!

Very cool... (Reply to this comment)

Where I live, power outages of more than a couple hours duration just don't occur, so I'd really have no use for this. Still, after reading about it, I do sort of wish I could experience an occasional three-day blackout just so I could have a cool new gadget to try out. Plus, my s=wife still has a few fingernails left that she hasn't chewed down to nubbins, which means I've been to predictable lately. :)
Nice job!
