| STEVE40's Full Review: Porter-Cable Clipped Head Framing Nailer Kit, Mode... |
About six months ago i was still using my Paslode cordless framing nailer and after several years of faithful use it finally gave out. I was in need of a new Nail Gun and after careful consideration I selected the Porter Cable model FC350. As luck would have it my local Home Depot was running a special that included the nail gun, 50ft of hose and the Porter Cable 4 Gallon Air Compressor for $449.00. this turned out to be a great deal for me as I was in need of an air compressor too. The separate price for the Nail gun would have been $249.00 if purchased separately. On the very first job I used this on I couldnt believe the performance. It out did the Paslode ten to one. It never once jamed or had any nails miss feed. It adjusts to different drive depths with an easy adjustment and it comes complete with a carry case that has the necessary wrenches for adjustment. It was very lightweight and i did not tire after extended use. My only concern was the ease of locating 3-1/4 coated nails. I thought the price and availability of all other nails were very competative with other brands. My overall experience with the Porter Cable Framing Nailer has been great. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
