Unlike my normal purchase, I didn't really do that much homework when I bought this nailer. I knew that I wanted the compressor I bought, but it was a package deal that included the FR350A. I'm so glad that I made the purchase.

I just bought it last week and have only framed in 2 rooms in the basement, but this nailer makes it so quick to get the work done.
I didn't need to use the bump trigger to finish my work, but being a guy, I had to give it a shot. Unlike some nailers, going from trigger firing to bump firing is a matter of just pushing in a knob and turning it.
Using the nailer is a piece of cake. Just hook it up to the compressor. Slide in the nails and pull back the nail pusher. And you are ready to go. Press it to the work surface and pull the trigger. I failed to read the instructions and attempted to do some toe nailing while the no mar cap was over the nose piece. Once I took that off, toe nailing was simple and accurate.
There are only a couple things that I would change. First, the nail chute is pretty long. This allows me to put about 60 nails through it, but it also gets in the way sometimes. I wouldn't want a shorter nail chute, though, so I don't know how to fix this one. The other thing I don't like is the little pieces of plastic from the collated nails. This is really minor, but annoying to have all those sharp little pieces all over the place. Keep a dust pan handy to clean these up because they are really sharp on bare feet.
I would definately buy this nailer again. I just wish I had it when I built my deck.
