I first tried Pounce Hairball Treat-ment for cats when I received a sample in the mail. And I must tell you that it does what it promises to do - it helps to prevent and eliminate hairballs.
I really appreciate the fact that I don't have to hide it in my cat's food, nor do I have to hold her down to get her to take it. The treatments are in the form of tasty little treats that my cat loves.
Every time a cat grooms its coat, the cat is swallowing small amounts of fur, which collect in their gastrointestinal tract and cause hairballs. These hairballs can cause digestive and elimination problems. Your cat may experience dry cough, vomiting after eating, constipation and straining during bowel movements.
Directions:
Feed recommended quantity all at one time, in-between meals and without meals.
TO ELIMINATE HAIRBALLS
For adults, feed 3-5 pieces once a day until hairball is eliminated
TO PREVENT HAIRBALLS
For adults, feed 3-5 pieces once or twice a week.
For kittens over 8 weeks of age, feed 3-5 pieces once or twice a week.
My cat used to cough up hairballs and vomit a lot before I started using this product, but has since stopped that after using the Pounce Hairball Treat-ment for about a week and a half. I still give her the treats a couple of times a week as recommended. I've been giving her these treats for about 2 months now, and am satisfied with the results.
Please note that you must also remember to brush your cat's coat on a regular basis to help prevent hairballs.
