Pros: Able to take in half doses if needed due to morning sickness.
Cons: Capsules are large and lacking in some nutrients.
The Bottom Line: This is a great vitamin for someone looking for a pill that does not irritate the stomach and can be taken in half doses.

| furryloo's Full Review: Pre Natal Care Multivitamin By Twinlab 120 Capsule... |
Why I bought this: Well, why do most people buy pre-natal vitamins? During my first pregnancy, I was not using this brand as I did not know about this one. I miscarried that pregnancy and taking pills that made me sick only made it worse. Before my second pregnancy, my sister-in-law told me about Twinlab PreNatal and how they did not upset her stomach or worsen her morning sickness during her pregnancies. I thought that I had better give this a try and started using it before we became pregnant again.
The Good Points:
The fact that they come in capsule size really helps with absorption and will reduce morning sickness issues.Rather than taking one, they have you take two. The plus side to this is that you can take one in the morning and one in the evening. You can also just take one and feel happy that you at least took something.Seems to absorb quite well, I noticed nicer nails and hair and better skin when I was taking this. You feel better. The vitamins that are in this supplement have an uplifting effect.
The Bad Points:
The capsules are still large and this can be a problem for anyone with a heightened gag reflex when pregnant.Somewhat low in B6. It reaches recommended amount but for women with a history of miscarriage, it is recommended they consume at least 50-200mg of B6, rather than the 12mg the capsules have.Lacking in calcium. You will need to drink/eat lots of milk products or take a supplement to meet your calcium needs. Does not have any omega supplements added so I recommend you eat lots of nuts, some fish or take supplements.
