light, natural smell
Cons:It can be expenssive
possible allergic reactions
The Bottom Line: I reccomend buying this product as a gift for others because it has a pleasant scent and a beautiful, decorative bottle.
I got this perfume as a gift from my mother-in-law. I do not usually like perfume, but I was enchanted by the pretty bottle, so I decided to give it a try. The scent was very light and not artificial. I was very happy with it, plus everyone always goes ga-ga over it when they see it.
It still smells like perfume but the smell is very light and airy. The main down side to this product, in my humble opinion, is the price tag. You pay for the pretty bottle and you pay for the Mark Jacobs name. I would therefore probably never buy this for myself. I would, however, not hesitate to buy it in order to give it as a gift. It will make the recipient very happy.
In terms of scent, this perfume is not going to knock you over with any one strong scent. It is floral, yet you can't pin down any particular flower. In fact this fragrance is most remarkable for it's lack of a distinct note. It reminds me most of a an outdoor scent combined with a light powdery scent. If you like bold distinct scents, this is not the perfume for you.
If you are like me and wear perfume only on special occasions, then this one bottle will last you a lifetime. I have had it for two years and have not noticed any appreciable evaporation from the bottle.
If you commonly have allergic reactions to perfume or strong reactions to scents, this is not the product for you. If you are planning to give this as a gift make sure the recipient and/or their spouse to do not have allergies.
