Fry Daddy is a Splatter Daddy
Written: Sep 3, 2002
Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
I purchased the fry daddy at a local target for around under 30 dollars, which I thought at the time was a good price for a decent looking deep fryer. I decided I was going to fry my first batch of fries in this new fryer and the results were terrible! The oil was splattering all over, you could'nt take out the fries with out getting burned by the hot oil. And the surface inside the fryer was so small that you could only make a small batch at one time. Another weakness of the fryer was that it got burning hot on the outside. If you accidently touched it for even a little bit you would burn yourself. There was only one temperature too, you couldn't set which temperature you wanted to specifically cook the type of food.
