I asked for the Pizzazz Pizza Cooker for Christmas knowing that I probably wouldn't get it because of the cost. Much to my surprise I did and off I went to the grocery store to purchase frozen pizzas!
After taking the cooker out of the box, I was pleased to see that all I had to do to start cooking was set the frozen pizza on the cooking plate, place it on a post on the base and plug it in. No screws or anything! Easy enough for this busy Mom.
I set the oven on dual, meaning it cooks both from the bottom and the top at the same time, and then turned the timer to 11 minutes. My kids were mesmerized by the rotating pizza! When the timer's bell dinged, the pizza was uniformly golden brown and the crust was nice and crisp. To my amazement, the pizza easily slid off the plate and there was virtually NO clean-up! That was the best part!
At first I thought that it was silly to have this big, bulky appliance sit on my counter-top, but I have found several other uses for it. Toaster Struedels, Pop Tarts and Bagels all go on it. I won't allow my kids to use it without my supervision because the heating elements are exposed. I've also used the Pizzazz to reheat Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc. (It recommends not doing this, but it works VERY well!)
