write4us's Full Review: Scott Turow - Presumed Innocent
A few years back I came across a book that I had heard was written by a lawyer and it was his first endeavor. I looked at the book and started reading the cover. I was intrigued by it. I decided to buy it.
I took the book home and started reading it immediately. I found Scott Turow's writing to be fresh, exciting and highly descriptive. I couldn't put the book down. It seemed as if he were sitting next to me telling me the story and I was completely fascinated at the lawyer who was so obsessed with a woman that he was willing to risk his marriage and his career.
I felt as if I were inside that lawyer's mind and I was plotting and trying to figure out what turn to take next. His obsession, his guilt, his indiscretion, everything was made acutely aware. This book has become one of my favorites and if you are intrigued by law, obsession, guilt then this is a book I highly recommend to take the time to read.
