| bighair's Full Review: Prince Precision Response Titanium |
I guess I should start off by saying that I am a sophomore in college, I serve and volley, and play for an NCAA division III team. Last year, as a freshman, I was an all-conference player, and I was using the prince precision spectrum. However, that racquet has been discontinued for three years, and it doesn't exactly fit a serve and volleyer, so I started looking for a new racquet over the summer. After playing with quite a few racquets, I decided on this one for a couple reasons.
First, it is a fairly powerful racquet with a lot of control. This racquet has a power level of 800, which is pretty high; however, it is also a very stiff racquet which gives it a high level of control.
Second, the control in the racquet lends itself perfectly to my style of game. I feel extremely at the net with this racquet because I can hit solid volleys deep, or short touch volleys equally as good.
This racquet is a good racquet for all-court players that play at a fairly high level. It is a mid-plus racquet, so I wouldn't recommend it for a recreational beginner. Because it is stiff, it is not very forgiving, so you have to hit the ball solidly consistently to play well with this racquet. Overall, this a great racquet for competitive tennis players.
