Pros: Unique shape/design, crunchy, good mouth feel, oddly addictive.
Cons: Fragile, not particularly healthy, but one pack has a low dietary impact. Thailand..?!?
The Bottom Line: Pringles Honey Butter Stix are definitely something new. Try 'em against your favorite 'chip snack'. They may not be an every day, long-term favorite but are worth a try.

... I guess it really is a global economy. When the most striking thing I can think of about a snack is the " Product of Thailand " label on it ...something has definitely gone out askew on the treadle.
I mean, Thailand..?? Home of tom yum goong and kow pad and well, whatever. Are we really to believe the origin of this wheat-based snack is Thailand..?!? With the Pringles barbershop quartet guy right there on the box. Barbershop guy, Pringles and Thailand. Yup, that is one of my TriBond cards. Have we really come to shipping snack production lines to Thailand..?!?
The Stix 'cracker' is the latest ( for me anyway... ) snack from the Proctor and Gamble food brand Pringles. They are a long way from the traditional cloned, stackable 'potato chip' that 'Pringles' brings to mind.
These are a remarkably thin, baked . . .stick. Err ...Stix. They are packaged ten packs to a box. All ten together produce 6.8 oz. of net weight. Not much, particularly when you divide it up. That low product weight keeps the calorie count low (just 90 per pack/serving) and also keeps the overall dietary impact low. Not a lot of fat, sodium, or carbs per serving. But then, there aint much there to begin with..!!
Despite the small product weight per serving . . .Stix feels and tastes like a lot more. Available in four flavors, I sampled 'Honey Butter'. Despite never having been anywhere near a honeybee or real honey (maybe the 'natural and artificial flavor' was honey..??) these Stix are definitely tasting of honey and butter. They are also a 'clean' snack. While there is a very slight touch of salt on the Stix it is not annoying and definitely no powder, flavoring, or oil all over your fingers.
I looked around our kitchen for something that might approximate the size of these Stix ...and found nothing. They are perhaps an 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide and just over four inches in length, a bit rectangular, more so than square. The 15 or so Stix per pack seem to be a reasonable serving. These honey butter Stix have an appearance that makes them look like they really were baked. Whether the markings are real or 'painted on' ...who knows.
The Stix are also amazingly fragile. Just getting them open and out of the pack seems to leave a few of them broken. Yet that crunch when you bite into 'em, broken or not, is quite satisfying. I can not really think of any similar food product; Proctor and Gamble did a great job of designing and testing these Stix to make a unique product.
What would you use them for..?? A good low-cal snack right out of the box/pack. I could also see them used as a garnish for a fancy dessert or a simple ice cream treat extra. I can also see your kids 'gluing' them to the top or sides of your gingerbread house. Though they might be a bit pricey for that use.
The Bottom Line If you are looking for something different to 'mix up' your snacking patterns, maybe something with a satisfying low calorie serving ...Pringles Baked Wheat Stix Honey Butter would be an intriguing option.
