ok, so, Prison Break stars Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows, a man in prison on death row for a murder that his brother, Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller), does not believe that he committed. The preface of the show is that Michael is a genius who, for a long time, has been planning a way to get his brother Lincoln out of prison. Michael fakes a bank robbery to get into the prison which his brother is in and..... antics ensue. You'll have to watch it for yourself and see. There are 22 episodes first season and they are:

Prison Break has been on for 3 seasons now and will be returning to Fox in the fall for a fourth season. If you're new to this show and like suspense, drama, romance, and even a laugh here and there I would definitely pick up season 1 of prison break.
