The Pace Master ProPlus ll is a superior treadmill. It weights 160 pounds and measures 29 inches by 69 inches.
The walking surface itself measures 18 inches by 54 inches and it is powered by a 2.3 horse power continuous duty electric motor.
The Pace Master can not be folded for easy storage which is its only drawback.
COMFORT AND SAFETY
This treadmill is designed with comfort and safety in mind which is good to see that a manufacturer will keep the safety has a primary concern.
The size of the walking/jogging surface is big enough to safely accommodate persons that are small size to a larger one.
Two guardrails placed on each sides of the treadmill are strong enough to help support a person exercising and can be easily reached without stretching from anywhere on the walking surface.
This apparatus is very stable regardless if it is used for either walking or at full speed for running.
The jogging carpet is well cushioned and has an excellent
feel when running on it.
ELECTRONIC MONITOR
Can be set for either metric or American standards.
It is very easy to use and can be programmed for four different training programs.
I really like the electronic monitor for its simplicity to read and set.
Of all treadmills I ever used I feel that the Pace Master's monitor was the best.
SPEED, INCLINATION AND NOISE LEVEL
-The maximum speed this treadmill will run is 12 miles per hour.
-The maximum inclination for imitating an uphill jog is 15%.
-I did find the noise level to be higher than expected, so if you decide to purchase this treadmill get yourself a good set of earphones.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I find the Pace Master to be one of the best all around treadmill I ever used. I found it to be powerful enough for a heavy set person and it is very safe to used.
I did like the electronic monitor ease to set and read.
One draw back is the fact that this treadmill will not fold and it is more expensive than other comparable treadmill.
