Pros: Great Price for Quantity; High Protein Content
Cons: Local GNC stores can't provide service
If you're looking to add protein to your nutritional need, this is a great product. Protein is a critical part of the body's development and growth and is needed to repair damaged muscles.
I have used this as a supplemental source of protein for years. The taste is good, it mixes well as a smoothie or shake, and for the price, it is very very hard to find anything comparable. Additionally, it is primarily protein without much in terms of additives. Some protein products have additional supplements to aid in protein synthesis, but I am not going to weigh in on their overall effectiveness.
Regularly, this is around $50 at any GNC store. However, often GNC will have buy one, get one 50% off which is very cost-effective for as much protein as you get -- 20g and approximately 87 servings per container (servings can vary a bit per container). In addition, if you have a GNC Gold Card, you get 20% off the 1st through the 7th of each month. These savings can stack (if your local GNC can figure out how to input it into the computer).

Great for Smoothies
You can add protein powder to all kinds of foods (oatmeal, pancakes, etc.), however I primarily use it as part of my meal replacement smoothies. Smoothies are an excellent way to get much needed nutrients and watch your calorie intake. Add some ice, lowfat/nonfat milk, protein powder, and any of the following: nuts, berries, fruit, lowfat/nonfat yogurt, peanut butter, etc. Makes a great in-between lunch/dinner and post-workout meal.
I've tried other flavors and not had any luck in the taste department. Chocolate is definitely the best. But this shouldn't discourage you from trying. GNC has a policy where you can return any items that you don't like the taste of, however there is a quantity limit as to how much you can use before unable to return it.
I will state, which has nothing to do with the product itself, that I have had numerous issues with my local GNC branches being unable to 'figure out' how to stack my gold card benefits (20% off all products the 1-7 of each month) with existing promotions. So much in fact, that I have ordered alternative protein source under the EAS brand. I will review once I receive the product and have had time to evaluate it.
