Don't get your hopes up (Reply to this comment)

Proactiv solution seems a dream come true, finally a product which seems to actually help - claiming loads of highly satisfied customers (80%) and tons of really impressive testimonals, great scientific research, made by real determiologists, sounds fantastic but with all products you must not get your hopes up.
I tried but i really couldn't help but think that this could be my miracle treatment. I tried it and was constantly checking my skin; just to see if there was any difference. I convinced myself there was. There wasn't. Then i started getting red, bumpy, itchy rashes. My skin was severely sore and extremely sensitive. It ruined my Christmas and took many weeks to recover from. Having recovered, being desperate for a clear complextion i attempted proactiv again, jst a few hours l8er my skin was back to its old extremely sensitve, sore, burning, itching, red, harsh, rough, flaky, peely state. I couldn't believe it affected my skin so badly. Why me? it had worked for so many others!!
I've since discovered very similar side effects have occured with proactiv which offers some sympathy. Although i did know Benzoyl peroxide was known to cause severe dryness i thought the moisturising creams and washes etc could take care of it (as it had with others) and would be a small sacrifice for acne-free skin but sadly all my hopes were shattered.
I hope this has given you some insight into the downfalls of using benzoyl peroxide and remember proactiv may have worked for many thousands of people with amazing results (even for those with truly problematic skin) but you might just not be one of those people. So do try it if you have the money and time but don't place your bets on it. There are many many other products out there with similar claims which are really impressive.
From all my knowledge and research I think those with acne afflicted skin and those who have paticularly sensitvie (even eczema) skin (like me) you should try natural skin products and be very careful in researching your project. Personally I'm going to try this anti-spot kit : http://www.naturalelements.co.uk/spots&acne.php
I'm really confident this will work and if it doesn't with a whole year's full money back gurantee what's there to lose?!
Well good luck to everyone with your skin problems!
