I've been a diligent Proactive Solutions user for about 3 years. It was the only product that got rid of my stubborn blemishes. It has worked wonders for me.

Like the other blemish-sufferers, I've used tons of anti-blemishing products. Over-the-counter stuff never worked for me. Even my dermatologist for two years couldn't do anything about my blemishes. With Retin-A, I developed skin conditions so serious, it was too painful to wash my face with water. With Proactive, I had no pain, no problems. Just clean, blemish-free skin.

The hard part with Proactive, I would say is that you have to be consistent. In my case, the blemishes kept on creeping back on my face as soon as I became a little lazy.

My skin type is sensitive-combination skin. With my type of skin, it does feel a little too dry on the cheeks after Proactive. In the morning, I apply a lotion with SPF15 all over my face to ease the tightness and for protection, at night I apply a thin layer of night cream only on the cheeks. This seems to work really well for me. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is soft and smooth. Ready for my next treatment of Proactive.

I would highly recommend the use of Proactive. If it works, that's great. If it doesn't work, well at least, it was worth a try. I understand that Proactive is not a cure-all for everybody. But it's good to know that there's something that works. Hope the day we find that "something" for everyone comes a bit sooner.
