Pros: Didn't seem to be harsh
Smelled great
Left face soft
Easy 3-step process
Cons: Expensive
Didn't work as well as they claim
The Bottom Line: Give it more time to see if it works. If not try what I suggested.

| mhardrown's Full Review: Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion |
I have moderate adult acne and have tried several things. I had tried Proactive a few years ago but was too impatient and never stuck to it. I had given up after only 2 weeks (or less) of using it. I hadn't seen any results, as a matter of fact the acne seemed to get worse.
I decided to give this product another chance and to stick to it this time. I used it for 5 weeks. After about 3 weeks I started to see a difference but after 4 it got worse again. The products didn't bother my skin as far as redness or anything like that. I have super oily skin and it didn't even affect it! The product that is supposed absorb the oil, that you can add to your kit for extra money, did not absorb anything! I think I'm going to start again but try it for a few months. I know they say on their web site that results will vary and some people see them after a few months of use. If it doesn't work after that I will be back.
Just a side note I did find something that worked well called Skinclean and it can be purchased on www.skinclean.com. I had found it while searching the web for treatment options. It is all organic and looks like sand but it is a super exfollient and kills the bacteria. To be honest the reason I quit using it was because it was taking the tan off my face because I tan in the summer. The Proactive doesn't take off as much. All you use with the Skinclean is the product and then a toner like Sea Breeze followed by any store brand oil-free facial lotion.
