At last I'm reviewing the third product in the three step Proactive System. You've no doubt seen the infomercials, right? It's funny because I very nearly threw out my bottle of Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion several times during cleaning sprees. May I just say that I'm very happy I didn't?!
Just the Facts!
Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion is the third step in the three step Proactive System. It comes in a white plastic bottle with a white screw on cap. The bottle holds 2 oz. of Repairing Lotion.
Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion is runny white cream. It takes less than a pea sized amount to cover my face, the directions say to apply thinly so a little does go a long way. There is no scent to speak of when it comes to Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion.
Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion can be purchased alone for $22.00 ($16.95 Club Price). Or should you choose to purchase the Proactive System as a whole, you will get a 4 oz. bottle of the Renewing Cleanser, a 4 oz. bottle of the Revitalizing Toner and a 2 oz. bottle of the Repairing Lotion for $49.95 ($39.95 Club Price).

A dear friend was very kind and gave me a box of her Proactive Solution three step system. We'd been talking about how she always had matte skin, while mine was also so shinny. Yet, she was the one with the blemish problem, not me. She'd told me that her matte skin was in part thanks to Proactive.
I faithfully used the entire three step system for one full month. During that month I never got the two or three blemishes that usually come from monthly hormonal changes. I had totally clear skin for an entire month! To say I was very impressed would really be an understatement. My skin was clear, soft and smooth!
However, after the month of use, I noticed something that I didn't care for. My skin was getting to be really, really dry. In fact, the skin around my eyes [Do Not Use These Products Around Your Eye Area!] was very dry and even wrinkly!
Now I didn't use these products around my eye area, but the skin that was closest to my eyes that I did use the products on, was a mess. Granted, it wasn't really super noticeable, you'd have had to really look for what I saw. But it was there none the less.
Because of these results, I decided to stop using the Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion altogether. I did keep using the other two steps and was pleased with the results, even though the next month I did get a couple of blemishes. Since that time, a few months ago, my bottle of Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion just sat in my bathroom cabinet, and as I said, I nearly threw it out a few different times.
Then the terrible tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001 happened. It became really hard for me to sleep at all and I stopped eating as well as I should and drank less water than usual. Needless to say, my skin was a mess. A mess like I really hadn't seen for more than 10 years. I had at least 8 very noticeable blemishes on my face, that's when I remembered I still had my bottle of Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion.
I started using the Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion again, once a day. I no longer had the other two items in the three step Proactive System, so I used the cleanser and toner I'd been using. It's now been a week and I am happy to report that my skin is blemish free! Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion can work wonders even without it's two counter parts.

Do I recommend the Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion? Yes, I highly recommend the entire Proactive Skin Care System. Even though I have combination skin and only get a couple blemishes a month, I have seen great improvement in my skin from these products.
The Proactive System and the Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion are not for everyone. Those who are allergic and or sensitive to Benzoyl Peroxide should not use them.
Proactive Solution Repairing Lotion may prove to be too harsh and drying for many, as it was for me. I learned that I really have no need to use this product on a daily basis, but as I've also learned, this is a very good product to have on hand when the need arises.
If you suffer from very oily skin and or acne prone skin, please consider giving the Proactive System a try. They do have a money back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose and only soft, gorgeous skin to gain.
