Pros: Helps clear ugly red pimples.The lotion is great as well.
Cons: A little expensive, but well worth it.
The Bottom Line: If you have problems with blemishes I recommend you at least giving it a shot.

I have read some opinions about the product Pro-Active.Some of the opinions stated that it was bad on they're face as well as some that said it worked really well. I thought I'd take a chance on it.
Well, I'm 34 now and I guess my hormones are all screwed up.I kid about it,telling everyone I have to wait until I get in my thirties to start going through puberty.I never had this problem when I was a teenager.
My son is 15 years old, going on 16.Now, you can say he's going through puberty.I aggravate him and tell him his moma is going through puberty the same time he is.(It's funny)
So, we we're both in need of something for our face.
We've been using Pro-Active for about a month now and have seen great results.My face isn't broke out as bad as it used to be.My son's face looks 80% better than what it did.He was
breaking out all over his face, but now there are only a few.It has helped us tremendously.
I know it hasn't worked on everyone that has tried it, but it definitely has worked on us.I will keep using the product unless it stops working or does something bad to our skin.My son's face looks brand new.
We are using the three step program. "This part is out of the pamplet that came with it."
Step 1- Renewing Cleanser
This is an oil-free formula that contains prescription-quality benzoyl peroxide in combination with a mild cleasner that lightly washes the skin.It has tiny littles grains that unclog pores and gently exfoliate dead
cells and impurities so they can't clog pores.The benzoyl peroxide penetrates the pores to kill the bacteria and reduce the number of pimples.
Step 2-Revitalizing Toner
This has no alcohol.It helps to balance skin tone and remove dead cells so the skin looks and feels refreshed.It moisturizes as well as helps to remove excess oil.It has a mild alpha-hydroxy that gently removes dead skin cells to reveal younger, more radiant skin.Helps also to balance the skin's natural acids.
Step 3-Repairing Lotion
The benzoyl peroxide in this light lotion is finely milled to penetrate the pore.It's safe for the entire face.It gets to the source of the problem to dry up blackheads and blemishes to prevent future breakouts.You can use it anytime of the day.
I also have the Refining Mask which is a rich,deep cleansing mask.It uses sulfur, a proven acne-fighting ingredient that reaches deep into the pores where blemishes begin.It gently unplugs pores, heals existing blemishes,pampers inflamed skin and softens and refines the skin's texture. I really like this mask.It seems to be helping my son the most.
