I like trying new products and when I use coupons I try anything I can get a really good deal on.  Such was the case with the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle.  I'm really in need of a haircut and my ends are getting a little thin and frizzy, so I figured I'd try out this product since I got a good deal on it.  

Price and Packaging 

I found the Aussie products on sale 2 for $5 recently at the grocery store.  I also had a coupon for $3 off 2 Aussie products, so I ended up getting a conditioner and the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle for $1 each.  I think it typically sells between $3 and $4.  The bottle comes in the typical Aussie purple.  It's a little smaller than the typical bottle, but it only contains 8 ounces.  It has a large white cap that sits on the bottom and actually does twist off, but that's not how the product is excreted.  When purchased new there is a sticker on the bottom of the cap that is to be peeled off.  After peeling the sticker, you will find what actually looks and functions like a rectum.  No joke.  The bottle has grooves on the side for easy grasping, and the product is excreted from the rectal-like hole. 

Usage

The directions for usage say to work into clean, wet hair.  Rinse with warm water then with cool water and go.  Sounds like a basic conditioner after shampoo to me.  It doesn't say anything about leaving it on for 3 minutes, but I'm making that assumption due to the name of the product itself.  I washed my hair as normal, then used the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle instead of my regular conditioner.  I instantly smelled the grape scent that I used to love about Aussie products.  The consistency was thicker than average, and I could smell another scent.  It reminded me of the thick Cholesterol Hair Conditioner my mom used to use years ago.   Some of that old scent seemed to be mixed with the grape smell.  The consistency was also similar to the Cholesterol.  I worked it through my hair, and did my shaving in the shower to ensure that I left it on at least a full three minutes.  The conditioner washed out with ease.  I actually didn't use cool water because I can't stand cool water in the shower.  The result?  After drying my hair, it was visibly smoother and silkier.  I truly was impressed at how healthy my hair was looking and how soft it felt.

Overall

I'm not sure if this miracle is meant to be used as a regular conditioner or not.  Usually a special conditioner as such is not.  There isn't a whole lot of information on the bottle and when I checked the Aussie website, there wasn't much more about the product there.  I've used it about one-two times per week in rotation with my regular conditioner.  The results are still impressive.  I would have to highly recommend this miracle worker.
