For many of us, watering multiple sized and shaped lawn and gardening areas has always been somewhat of a perplexing problem. At one time or another we have all wished we had a watering device that would concentrate water only on specific areas and not over-spray other adjoining areas (like neighbors properties, sidewalks, etc.). Well, the Gilmour Company has addressed gardener's concerns by exquisitely designing the world's first programmable sprinkler. Finally, one universal sprinkler capable of precisely watering any size or shape yard or garden application.
The secret to the Pattern Master Pulsating Sprinkler's design is the novel way the spray head has been engineered to rotate on a track that has 16 multiple height adjustment points. Each of the 16 points can be incrementally raised or lowered dependent on the watering area size or shape. All you have to do is push the points up or down to get the precise desired pattern regardless if the area is round, square, or rectangular.
The Pattern Master Pulsating Sprinkler is a marvelous product that's easy and fun to use. Not only is it extremely stable with it's fold-out feet whereby, not walking or tipping over, but programming or re-programming specific spray patterns is easy to do.
The oscillating spray arc can be set anywhere within an approximate 330 degree range which provides a full spray along with a spatter return spray. However, continuous 360 degree spray (with no spatter spray) is attainable by simply flipping up the metal oscillating reverse stop. Limit setting the spray arc is achieved using convenient adjustable stops. Water coverage is up to 5,800 sq. ft. or approximately a 43 ft. radius.
This is a sturdy plastic unit, but care should be given not to drop unit on it's head mechanism as parts could potentially break.
Though one unit can be used throughout most anyone's gardening areas, we found it easier to use multiple units dedicated to pre-programmed areas rather than taking the time to continuously re-program one unit. We currently use four pre-programmed units for specific property areas. Plan to purchase more as requirements grow.
We also use Gilmour Advanced Connectors/Valves on all faucets, hoses, and sprayer attachments. The 'quick-connect' connectors really make exchanging sprinklers, nozzles, etc. a breeze. These quick-connects allow any sprayer attachment to swivel 360 degrees while allowing hoses to lay flat where connected to anything. Using the quick-connect on the Pattern Master Pulsating Sprinklers prevent them from toppling over while assuring they will always lay flat. Please see our reviews on other Gilmour products.
