I'm fairly certain that everyone knows what a Q-tip is, but just in case you don't, let me tell you a bit about this versatile product. Basically, a Q-tip is a stick, something like a sucker stick, with a soft wad of cotton attached to each end. 

Q-tips Cotton Swabs are superior to other brands that I have tried because they are made with 100% pure cotton, and lots of it. These have 50% more cotton at the tip than any of the other swabs, so they are soft and comfortable to use. I also like that the stick is made of firm paper, and has a bit of give to it. The cotton is also attached firmly to the stick, so I havn't had any of the cotton balls fall off the ends like I have with some of the cheaper brands.

Since these Q-tips Cotton Swabs are made with 100% natural materials, they are completely biodegradable when composted. I prefer to use such Earth friendly products whenever possible, and these are one of the most useful items I have found that is also all natural.

Perhaps one of the most common uses for Q-tips Cotton Swabs is cleaning out ears, although there are many other uses as well. I have used them many times for baby care, first aid care, makeup removal, cleaning between the keys on my keyboard, and even for craft projects. There are many times when this small wad of cotton on a stick is the perfect tool for a variety of projects.

Although many people use these for cleaning their ears, the manufacturer warns against inserting them into the ear canal as this could potentially cause damage to the ear drum. They are meant for cleaning the outer ear only, and not intended for the ear canal. If using these to clean your ears, please use caution and be very gentle to avoid serious injury. I have used these for cleaning my own ears, as well as using them on my children and pets. If you are careful and use a soft touch, these work rather well.

In addition to cleaning ears, I have used these for a variety of other things. They work well for some makeup removal, baby care and first aid tasks. I always make sure to keep a few in my first aid kit for cleaning delicate areas around wounds and sometimes for applying medications. They work well for cleaning between the keys on my keyboard too because it is easier to get into tight spots between the keys. They also work great for certain crafting projects, so I always make sure to keep some with my craft supplies.

I recommend that you always get the Q-tips Cotton Swabs rather than the generic or store brands. Although I generally don't care much about brand names, I do care about quality, and these are the highest quality of any of the different brands I have tried.
