| bill_squire's Full Review: Qualcomm PDQ Smartphone |
Let me start by first telling you that I bought this phone primarily to use as a cell phone. I planned to use the email functionality however the rest of the web I felt really couldn't be expressed well on a little cell phone screen. As far as the smartphone's regular cell signal it is top notch. I live in a mountainy area of New Jersey and Qualcomm's cdma system is fantastic my old nokia was terrible in comparison. The outlook email works fine, was easy to set up and reliably gave me my email.
Now the negatives. Cell Phones are not made to surf the web. They have very little functionality aside from a few nice features (like maps). Why would you want to buy a book from amazon if you can't also get reliable book reviews from other sources on it. You can only get to a few sites and there content is limited at best.
Overall the phone is well designed and easy to use. If you want the phone for a cell phone / portable email, I suggest this phone. If you like to be the first kid on the block with a cool new phone also get this. FOr most of us however wireless access needs to be improved greatly. Thank you for reading my opinion
