| bionici's Full Review: RAM Zebra Classic Putter |
Did you ever have one of those days, where you could not read the line of the putt? Or does your putter feel too light, too awkward, or not in line with the hole?
I got to the point my in golfing life, that I could not see the line of the putt. The fact that I had cataracts at a really early age (early 40s) had alot to do with that. But after I had 2 lens replacements, and still couldn't see the line when I addressed the putt, I bought my self a Ram Zebra. The lines on the top of the putter have solved this issue, and I putt better than I did when I was playing golf in college.
Most players don't allow themselves the advantage of playing with a putter that has sight lines. Why, I don't know. But with the sight lines on the putter head, the club points to where the ball is supposed to go.
Second, this club helps take "wrist action" out of putting. It allows a smooth arm / shoulder take-away, and because of the weight, flows right through the ball. It's great on long putts, and gave me 100% confidence in my ability to make those really tough 3 - 5 foot short putts.
I've tried just about every style of putter there is, and I come right back to the mallet, and especially the Ram Zebra. Allow those sight lines to help you make those putts.
