Come On RCA - Get It Right!

Pros: Nice picture when it works.
Cons: 1st replaced, leak in red tube. 2nd unit randomly switches from 16:9 to 4:3.
The Bottom Line: If you don't need the HDTV part it's probably great when it works.

Everyone that sees it says "Great" or "It sure is big". But no one has seen High Definition on it yet because (A) I can't hook it up to my RCA HD DBS receiver because the jacks are not compatible & (B) I can't seem to get it to stay working long enough to watch it.
Repairman came today to solve the random view mode switching problem (the problem was described to him prior to his setting up the appointment) but he was unable to effect repairs because he didn't know what to do. He said he will contact RCA on Monday about a fix. Good Luck!
Should you buy one try to get the vendor to "Guarantee" you that you will get HDTV reception or you get your money back.
