Pros: Easy to operate, skip free-play back, memory expandable to 192mb.
Cons: No back light for display, memory expansion is very costly.
The Bottom Line: If you want a MP3 player for your exercise, this is your best bet. Another $100 investment can expand the memory upto 192mb or 3-hour recording time.

| sokano's Full Review: RCA Kazoo RD1060 (64 MB) MP3 Player |
I bought this MP3 player to replace my old SONY portable radio which I used during my work-out session. The new device had to be small enough and needed to be attached to my arm. So, this small MP3 player with a wristband was my best bet. It was very easy to install the attached software and download MP3 files into the player. I have been using the device during my work-out and it has not bothered me for any reason. However, the cheap plastic case attached to the wrist band may break any time, which also keeps the device attached to the wrist band.
Currently, the built-in 64mb memory can store up to approximately 60-65 minutes worth of music or 12-15 songs. This is much better than the old version RC 1000 (32mb), but any memory expansion can be quite costly. It only takes a multi media card (MMC) which costs from $30 to $120 for 16mb to 128mb. I accidently purchased a 128 mb secure digital card which did not fit the device. (the size of both secure digital (SD) card and MMC is the same, except the SD card is slightly thicker.)
I need to say that anyone who is considering buying a RC 1000 (32mb) should invest another $20 for RC 1060 for an extra 32 mb unless you are perfectly happy with 30 minutes of play time. There is no way for you to get 32mb expansion for less than $20.
For now, I am very happy with my MP3 player and plan to expand the memory to 192 mb with another $100 investment. I think this player is most suitable for exercise. This is because the lack of backlight and power supply (not even a hole), which make this MP3 player unsuitable for car use. There are many other MP3 players which can store more songs for much less which also come with all car-related accessories.
