Pros: Dual-wake, time-set convenience features, loud, stylish look
Cons: Easy to accidentally knock volume down, too bright, display quality
The Bottom Line: Not a bad alarm clock--for those who don't mind the bright light the display gives off. Just watch out for quality issues.

| omega9c1's Full Review: RCA RP3720 Clock Radio |
This alarm clock is definitely convenient, with settings to switch U.S. time zones and daylight savings time. It features a very bright blue VF display that can either be set to the fixed (maximum) brightness or an automatic brightness; even at the minimum brightness it is actually too bright for my liking, even after I put something on top of the light sensor. Plus after a couple years several of the VF things on the display had become dimmer than the others, making it difficult to tell what time it is when I'm not wearing my glasses. Also, the radio tuning frequency isn't quite exact, and worse yet the volume function seems sensitive: if you accidentally bump it, it'll cut down to minimum volume as if there's a short in the unit. So I have to be very careful so I don't accidentally do so, then not hear the alarm go off. The maximum volume does go pretty loud though.
All in all, it's a nice alarm clock. I like the dual alarm features as well, but the quality and brightness glitches taint it. For the price it isn't bad, but in return I have to put up with the volume setting and display issues.
