Purchasing 2 MP3 players for our 2 oldest girls was the smartest investment we could have ever made. Not only was is affordable it will eventually save us money in the long run.
The 32MB Hard Drive disk space is adequate for your 5 - 7 most favorite songs. It has the capability of purchasing additional removable memory cards to download additional MP3's but as of yet they are still unavailable for purchase in the electronic world.
The quality of music that you can download FREE from the internet is surprisingly good. In my opinion I think the quality is even better than a CD.
It is easy to download, save, store, and play. It's a no brainer. My 14 and 15 year old had their music downloaded in a matter of 3 minutes. I was able to download some for myself. It took me slightly longer because I had a hard time deciding which 5 - 7 songs that I wanted to listen to. Once I decided all the songs took 3 - 5 minutes and I had music at my finger tips.
The MP3 Player works just like a CD player without the hassle of having to change CD's. You can skip whichever song you want or go directly to a specific song of your choice.
The head phones are unique and comfortable to wear. It is soft to the ear and adjustable to fit most head except for those of us with small heads.
My overall opinion of the product would have to be Excellent. It is a must if you have kids that want every CD on the market. This is an inexpensive purchase that will eventually save you money in the long run.
I like the MP3 Player because:
#1 - Small and compact
#2 - Inexpensive ($74.99)
#3 - Lightweight
#4 - Easy to use and operate
#5 - Excellent gift for teenagers or those hard to buy
for friends and relatives.
#6 - Has expandable memory card capabilities
#7 - Most of all you can use your MP3 practically
everywhere and in everything you do. You can even
wear it while you are exercising and not have to
worry about changing CD's or having your CD's
skip.
What I dislike about the MP3 Player
#1 - The battery life is too short. Approximately 3
hours. Doesn't have an AC adapter capacity.
#2 - Additional Memory Cards are unavailable for
purchase due to the MP3 player being too new.
#3 - The 32MB Hard Drive space is only capable of
holding 5 - 7 songs.
Purchasing two MP3 Players for our girls for Christmas has saved us approximately $50.00 in CD purchases in just one month. Now our kids can listen to music before purchasing the CD's and then not liking them. The only thing I wish I would have done was purchased one for myself. I am constantly finding myself taking the girl's and downloading my music so I have something to listen to while I am doing various projects around the house.
Before you purchase an MP3 Player look around for the best price. I was surprised to get one for only $74.99 at Radioshack and all the other store such as K'Mart, Walmart, Sears, Circuit City, CompUSA and numerous other stores were selling the same exact system for $20.00+ the price I paid.
