Great system for the money

Pros: Great Sound for the price

Cons: Sub-woofer lacking the bass punch

The Bottom Line: If you are looking a good intermediate system, then the RT2500 is an excellent choice for your money

I have had this system for almost a year now and have found it to perform very well with a few exceptions. One being the lack of "PUNCH" from the subwoofer. Even at 200W it is lacking the bass power most of us are looking for. Throw in a larger set of front speakers and route the bass through them and the performance is greatly improved. Overall sound quality and seperation is good. Although i do agree with other reviews that the speakers seem overly large, they do appear smaller once mounted on a good set of speaker stands.

You can also improve its performance by using a quality set of monster cables instead of the cheaper ones supplied with the system.
