snyderj's Full Review: RCA HPNC050 Consumer Headphones
Construction - These headphones are not built to last a lifetime, but neither are they going to fall apart in a day. Getting two years of occasional use out of them would likely be par. I'd anticipate a six month life if you used them daily. The quality is roughly similar to the 'free' headphones you get with a new computer.
Storage - The headphones are rather easy to fold and unfold, but it isn't easy to wrap up and stick into the small bag.
Comfort - Comfort depends a lot on head size and personal preference. I suspect my head size is average, and I find the headphones comfortable, though not luxurious by any stretch. I have worn them for over an hour without feeling squeezed. There is no adjustment, except the typical plastic sliding mechanism found on nearly all cheap headphones.
Noise canceling - These headsets are very effective for wind noise and the the hum of air conditioning systems. I suspect they would work well on an airplane, but I have not tried that. Do not expect these headsets (nor any other low end system) to be the same as wearing ear plugs.
Music - Not bad, but certainly far from great. When noise canceling is on there is a definite drop in the highs/lows and the channel separation.
