I have had this VCR for over a year now, and it works great! The past 2 years, I went through 5 VCRs. Every single one I got was horrible--some started working bad before the 30 days for returns was up, so I was able to take them back. But, others waited about 3 months or so, then started--horrible picture and sound, trouble rewinding, and eating tapes!! These were all different brands, one was a sony, and one a panasonic. I can't even remember what all the rest were now.
So, I got this VCR after being thoroughly disgusted with the way they make VCRs these days--they are cheaply made and not meant to last! So far, this one has been great!! It tapes great and playsback great and the rewind is super fast! I have not had one single problem with it. The menu and control are both easy, and the timer setup is simple.
This is a great VCR for the money, especially since you can find it as cheap as $70 some places! If I ever do have a problem with this VCR, I will post it on here, but I don't think I will because so far it works great!! Oh, did I forget to mention, I have 3 of them in my home now--thats how much I like it!
Plus, it looks great too. I love the silver look--makes it look more modern and new. I would highly recommend this vcr.
