| kgmer13's Full Review: RIM BlackBerry 7130e Smartphone |
This phone has actually out lived my cell phone contract. I've had it for over two years and it is still going strong. All the keys still work without problems, the roller wheel still works, and the battery holds a charge just like it did when I first got the phone. It's a larger phone (not a flip phone type) but when using the blue tooth wireless headset the size is not an issue. The only problem I have had with it is the blue tooth. Occasionally it or the headset loses the connection information and I have to manually set it back up (I am using the jabra blue tooth headset). The qwert style keyboard is nice but the phone combines keys together (it's not a full keyboard), so the qwert doesn't make a lot of sense to me. However the auto function of determining types words works very well so replying to e-mails or text messages is simple and intuitive. The display is bright and big enough to easily read messages. It can be used to connect to your email server through blackberry. It can also be used as a high speed modem if you choose the service from your wireless provider. The performance is excellent.
