The Bottom Line: If you have a baseball fan or player in your family, I would highly recommend this for you! Such a creative game to keep active.

My husband and I first saw this item on TV and he said that he wanted to add that to his Christmas list. I was thinking, “Why would you want a little kids toy?!” At first I was a little skeptical because I thought that the install was going to be difficult and that it was another gimme ad. So I went to the store and purchased their first release as a Xmas gift for my husband. Eagerly, he wanted me to put it together and I took a deep breath. A few batteries and a plug into the VCR and we were good to go! My husband took control from there and immediately wanted to play. Now let me tell you, I had to assist him with how to use the PS2 console, how to surf the web and even how to turn on the computer and he was able to maneuver this game with such ease! Being one of the HUGEST baseball fans out there, he took to the game right away and has been enjoying it ever since. The levels vary to accommodate kids of all ages, and even big kids like my husband! ; ) It features about 3 different levels, variations of games, choice of night or day and more. There are only a few drawbacks that I can think of. First, the buttons on the console are so hard to read since they don’t stand out. So I whipped out my label maker and went to town. Second, they have had a recall on the item. So please check to make sure that you have the newer version of the bat since our bat broke in half and flipped across the room during this recall. We received our new bat about a month later and have not had any problems. (A portion of this bat is made of a foam material to offer more safety and protection.) Lastly, the graphics remind me of the old Atari games, so don’t expect to think that you are going to have that realistic feel.
