Pros: Great location with good rooms and views
Cons: Radisson online reservations using Points aren't accurate
Parking is pricey
The Bottom Line: Book in advance, don't use GoldPoints, and this is a good base for Chicago visitors - especially for short stays.

I often stay here when I'm in Chicago. It is a great location with rooms that are adequate to good and a decent restaurant on-site. Parking is pricey but always a premium in this neighborhood. Rates vary widely from $100-$300+ for very similar rooms so I always book well in advance.
Recently, I booked a personal stay via the Radisson web site using GoldPoints and received a written confirmation noting a room cost of "$0.00". When I checked in [two months later], I was informed that there were insufficient Points in my account to cover the one night stay and I would therefore have to pay $299 instead. Since we had traveled from another state for this trip and most hotels were sold out, we had little choice but to pay up. They wouldn't even offer the rate in effect when the reservation was made. When I called the GoldPoints hotline to see how this had happened, I was informed that this glitch is well known to the Radisson and "our web site isn't smart enough to check your Points". It seems that this happens to Radisson guests on an ongoing basis, not just at this property but throughout the chain.
So, if you are accumulating GoldPoints to stay at a Radisson property, caveat emptor!
