Pros: thank god this is a business trip so can write off
Cons: list of 30 + above.
The Bottom Line: I would rather stay in one of our rooms that you can rent by the hour then stay in this hotel. AVOID!!!!

My trip to Orlando was predominantly for business. However, I did arrive there a day or 2 early to go to Discovery Cove and that was no end of a nightmare.
My experience could be summed up in one word. HORRIBLE. Here is the list of complaints that I personally sent to corporate as well as discussed with the Manager on Duty. Considering the large amount of money our group spent at the hotel, it really is not stupid to have multiple unhappy guests. We had 100 + people there from other countries for 4-5 days. Surely, they would have done something to compensate us for the problems they caused.
There are a variety of things that could have been done to make a more positive experience.
1st) The Bellhop did not ask me if I needed assistance upon walking in the hotel. I have never been in a hotel where the bellhop just stands there and doesn't offer any kind of help.
2nd) The beds in non-sleep # room are like sleeping on piece of wood. HORRIBLE. If I had brought a sleeping bag, the floor would have been better.
3rd) The comforter was not a REAL comforter and was a joke. The comforter was basically 2 sheets sewn together. Again I've been in very cheap hotels that have nicer bedding.
4th) The vending machines should have been both coke and Pepsi products and were very pricy.
5th) No Snack Machines anywhere to be found.
6th) No Microwave anywhere to be found. What good is fridge if no mic.
7th) The Bedding itself was HORRIBLE. Everything was made with feathers. Lots of people are allergic to feathers and none of the items were marked to let customers know they had feathers in them.
8th) None of the Sleep # beds rooms have wireless internet and so you can only hook up one computer at at time. ALL the rooms should have wireless.
9th)The lighting on the paths to rooms at night should have been much better. They were dark and you could barely see in front of you.
10th) Our door to the building we were in was only supposed to be open with a room key. Ours was open throughout the night and didn't need a key to get in building. This is a major security problem.
11)There were pubic hairs etc on the mattress since we had to strip the bedding bc my roommate was allergic to feathers. Clearly the rooms aren't being cleaned the way they should.
12) I requested a blow dryer since ours didn't work. Rather then take my word for it and send up a blow dryer, they sent someone up who basically accused me of not knowing how to get it to work. Then he couldn't get it to work as well.
13) Finally sent up another blow dryer- which also did not work.
14)Eliminate that $11.50 fee. I didn't utilize any of those services and don't think I should be responsible for paying it.
15) Your shuttle service that you brag about is really poor as the only place you bring people to is to Magic Kingdom.
16) Shuttle should make stops at Discovery Cove in addition to more regular stops at Sea World.
17) I was forced to pay $60 in cab fare to get to and from Discovery Cove since the bellman didnt bother to give me any instructions on catching bus etc and since the shuttle doesn't go there.
18) Furthermore, the cab the bellman called for me cost me alot more than the one I took on the return trip home, showing me how little they care about their guests' budget.
19) A friend and I attempted to take the shuttle to SeaWorld but the schedule we were handed was an old one. Consequently even though we were on time according to the schedule, we were 5 minutes too late causing us to miss quite a bit at Sea World since we had to wait for bus to take another bus etc.
20) It's ridiculous to only have one time for SeaWorld and not pick up at Discovery Cove when they are practically next door to one another.
21)The bar should have stayed open later. Here in NOLA, our bars dont close till 5-6 am if they close.
22)Cash bar at our evening function didnt have everything necessary to make my drink so I had to walk back to the main bar everytime I wanted beverage.
23)Should have more than 2 pillows on each bed.
24) Should be more of the amenities in the bathroom than just for one person.
25) Didn't have coffee in the first room we were in.
26) Trash cans should have trash bags in them.
27) Bathroom didn't have trash can in it period.
28)My suitcase's wheels got stuck in the elevator track so need to do something with that.
29) Hallways in building looked like they hadnt been vacuumed in weeks.
30) No place to hold luggage if you have early flight while you wait for flight.
We had to switch rooms 2x because of sanitary issues with the bedding etc.
I will not be back unless I am compensated for my trouble Nor will I recommend this hotel chain in my own city of NOLA.
