The Bottom Line: For the best location, near everything, and great rooms for excellent rates, you can't beat Ramada KSC.

One of the best places for tourists and natives alike to enjoy Florida is in the Port Canaveral / Titusville area. There's a wealth of things to do, from fishing and cruises to attractions and dining, not to mention the awesome spectacle of a night time shuttle launch! The Ramada Inn Kennedy Space Center is centrally located to all of it.
Whether you are planning a family trip to the Kennedy Space Center, looking for a place to stay before your cruise leaves, or want to experience all the area has to offer over a few days, this hotel is your best bet for good rates at a quality hotel close to everything. I've stayed there when fishing out of the port or just to get away for a weekend and take a day cruise or catch a shuttle launch at the Kennedy Space Center just down the street several times and have been happy with my stay every time.
Ramada KSC has several features that make it my favorite choice for the area: free HBO, a heated pool and jacuzzi, sauna, in-room coffee makers, even a game room. They have parking suitable for boats or RVs and guest laundry services, as well as a 24 hour Denny's restaurant and lounge. This is all very important if you plan on some deep sea fishing out of the nearby port! The tropical courtyard landscaping is also a nice touch. The regular rooms are spacious and affordable, but the suites offer the best value and I would highly recommend them if you are planning on staying for more than a couple days. They offer AAA discounts among others, but for real savings you can print out a coupon from their website (www.ramadaksc.com) and knock a good $40 off of the rate for either the regular rooms or the suites. By the way, their site has a nice list of all the different things to do in the area, some that are news to me and I've lived in Florida my entire life! Like any hotel, especially in Florida, they have their busy seasons, so make sure you call ahead and make reservations just to be on the safe side. There's nothing worse than showing up tired from a day on the water only to find there is no room left in the inn.
For visiting families, it's really a short drive from Orlando, so the big theme parks really aren't out of range of this place, plus you have the advantage of all the great things to do and see in the immediate area including some beautiful uncrowded beaches. Ramada KSC is a definite recommendation for the place to stay in the Titusville / Canaveral area.
