I had originally bought the The Rayovac ILJ2AA Swivel Lite Flashhlight to help illuminate tight places around my computer desk, when trying to connect cables. I have plenty of USB devices. When one of them is not working, I found myself fiddling a lot with cables in fairly dark areas. My DSL connection is behind my PC and that connection is quite fickle.

I bought this at Menard's for under $10, being impressed with the following features:
-the light swivels on top of the base by 90 degrees, so it can shine around corners
-the light swivels around the base by 360 degrees, so it can shine in any direction
-there is a belt/cap clip which means the flashlight can be used hands free
- Ray-o-vac describes this as contractor grade, whatever that means, and it has a lifetime warranty.

I disliked the fact that this flashlight uses a bulb, not an LED, and included heavy duty instead of alkaline batteries but the great price and the other features made up for it.

The unit is a fairly small size, around 4 1/4 inches and powered by 2 AA batteries.

In use, it's been great. The small size and the dual swiveling features really work well in closets and in back of and around my computer desk. The Rayovac ILJ2AA Swivel Lite Flashlight easily met my brghtness test which is lighting up the traffic sign half a block down the street. I have not used the clip but is it very strong and sturdy.

The supplied heavy duty batteries lasted for around 6 months of occasional use. I've been using alkaling batteries, again occasionally, for a couple of months and they are still working fine.

I can recommend the Rayovac ILJ2AA Swivel Lite Flashlight as a useful tool and a great value.
