Strolling Casually through my local Barnes and Nobles I almost passed up this book...my boyfriend actually pointed it out. I have long been a fan of Vladmir Nabakov's beautiful and poignent tale of Humbert. This book however opened my eyes to what was really going on in the middle east. Living in America I could not imagine waking up in a world with hardly any freedom know that just last year I had that freedom...It's a great book and I think everyone should read it.
