I have been using Lysol products forever. One I came across that I found very smart in design concept was the foam hand sanitizer Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Sanitizer Foam. The key word is foam. I have soap products and soap dispensers that aerate the contents, now this concept has been applied to this hand sanitizer. This makes the product go a lot further making it less expensive in the long run. The foam design prevents runniness and dripping and in general is very clever. This was the first time I'd seen a hand sanitizer in foam. It comes in a nice 5.1 oz dispenser bottle and is also available in a tiny 1.58 oz travel size great for purse or pocket.

I have grand kids and like to use this on them when they come around since they tend to be little petrie dishes. I carry the purse size dispenser when I'm out that I use if I've been in and out of a lot of stores. Those wagon handles can transmit tons of germs and with the latest Swine flu scare I'm just being a little cautious. The pandemic level on Swine flu has gone from a 5 to a 6. Of course, you still need to wash your hands frequently, cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough (not with your hands, use your inner elbow) and some people are wearing masks.
The scent is pleasant, not fruity, not sweet just clean smelling. It rubs in quickly with no left over on your hands. I found with the general hand sanitiizer I was either using to much or it just came out too quickly but I'd end up with more than I could deal with on my hands. I also found most of them had a tendency to sting if you had a cut or scratch due to high alcohol content. Propyl Alcohol is the second ingredient so it's a main ingredient but you don't get the sting or smell with Lysol Healthy Touch Gentle Hand Sanitizer, I'm guessing that's why it's called gentle. Ordinarily my dogs jump back at the smell of hand sanitizers if I've just applied some. This version, the Lysol Foam doesn't knock them for a loop.
Lysol Healthy Touch is a gel based foam and has moisturizers in it as well to combat the drying factor in the alcohol. The flu virus can live on surfaces for days and the virus can travel through the air at 100 mph. It will kill 99.9% of the germs.
Directions: Apply 1-3 pumps of the sanitizer to your hands and rub until they feel dry.
Germs are in the air on plants, on animals and of course, on people. Door knobs, food carts, kids toys are breeding grounds. I highly recommend getting in the habit of using Lysol hand sanitizer to prevent the spread of Mersa, Swine flue and germs in general.
Lysol makes other disinfecting products as well, Lysol Wipes, Antibacterial Kitchen Cleaner, and Disinfectant Spray to Go and 4 in 1 cleaners for floors.
