After downing two of Red Hook's Blackhooks, I decided to give this a try. Had this on tap, and it pours a medium( not as pale as macros) golden color, and decent head and foam which sticks to the glass.Aroma is of some hops and some malt. I tasted little hops and some malt, but that's it.Body is medium and beats any macro swill out there. I must say this is more of a lager than any kind of ale. An average alcohol content being little over five percent, this is decent and I would compare it to Yuengling as being a good lager and surpassing the macro swill put out by Bud, Miller, Coors, Pabst etc.Decent stuff overall, but this could be much, much better if the Red Hook Brewery gets some guts and puts more hoppiness and body into it. It wasn't too expensive (at least at my bar, once again) and could be one of the better choices at some taverns.
