excited to start using my Reebok tubes (Reply to this comment)
by aruna822
Hi, I bought my Reebok Resistance tubes (level 2) and have been searching on the internet for some directions / videos on how to use them. I am in good shape, and have been doing free weights at home to get upper body weight training (supplement my Vikram yoga practice that i do 7 days a week).
Till I read your article, I was having no luck. Please tell me should I have started with level 1? and where would I find and which are the best videos to show directions on how to use the tubes. I cannot seem to find any by Reebok.
Please advise as I have one week before leaving on my trip and I would like to get this program started at least for a few days before leavingg.
Appreciate your help.
If there are none available, then which places offer classes using these. I live in San Francisco.
Thanks much
Aruna

LOL Yes about 7 years ago I got certified as a Personal Trainer. My kids thought I was going through a midlife crisis but now they are thrilled because I work up programs for them (for free:). So..ask away if you have any questions and feel free to take a look at MY HOMEPAGE. When you get there, click on the Fitness Page. jo
(I sent my review of Song airlines to them hoping for some free tickets but I didn't even get a thank you letter, I'll try this one, though. It is easy through Planet Feedback.) jo

Busy Catching Up! (Reply to this comment)

Sorry I am so late with your reviews! Jo, I have missed something here......you said your clients use these. Are you a trainer? How come I don't know this? I love these tubes and use them everytime I work out. I think they are great for elongating muscles. I even do the movements you explained.
Really fabulous review. Send it to Reebock!
My best,
Deborah~

Hi Cal: and that is exactly my point and the con to resistance tubes. I haven't found a man who uses them and certainly they would be ineffective for you. Now the baby...:) jo

Personally I'm used to free-weights. Plus, some of the time while doing my body pump routines I'll be tapping my foot while doing bicep curls. I'd probably forget while using these tubes and manage to *boing* myself on the head. I'm accident-prone, similar situations have been known to happen!
But seems like an interesting alternative if your buffed body trainer is using them.

I've never been a big fan of resistance equipment, because its usually hard for me to find resistance equipment thats strong enough for me. However, you've done a wonderful job in your review of the Reebok Resistance Tube perhaps I'll give it a try.
