Pros: Gently exfoliates, resulting in smoother skin.
Cons: Can be expensive if used every day.
I love Olay facial products. When I saw the commercial for Olay Thermal Skin Polisher I just had to try it!
ABOUT THE POLISHER
The product comes in 4.25 FL OZ black tube with pink metallic accents and black flip top. The polisher is light pink with very tiny, evenly distributed micro-crystals.
Olay claims: Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher regenerates skin's appearance for a beautifully polished texture and renewed vibrancy achieve professional mini-peel results after 10 days.
The formula is self-heating when it comes in contact with water. "The gentle micro-crystal formula then polishes away dry skin cells, revealing newer skin after rinsing. The formula also contains glycolic acid, a key ingredient used in professional mini-peel treatments."

Moisten face with water, dispense a quarter-size amount of product on your fingertips and dab onto forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. Massage over face, rewetting face 1-2 times to extend thermal experience. Rinse with water. For best results use daily at the sink or in the shower.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE POLISHER
When I first starting using this product, it was in the middle of a bad break-out time for me. There was no warning on the bottle not to use on irritated skin, although I should have known better, so I used it as directed. Ouch! It made my breakout areas very red and raw. So, I stopped using the product until my skin cleared up a few weeks later.
Since then, I have used the product approximately 1-3 times per week and the results have been fantastic. I always cleanse my face first with my Olay Daily Facials and then follow up with the Polisher.
The micro-crystals are nice and evenly distributed so you don't get spots that have more or less, and the product is easy to massage into skin. The product does heat up nicely when it comes in contact with water. The directions say to add water in order to extend the thermal experience, but I didn't find this to be the case.
After I rinse the product off, my skin definitely feels revitalized and new. I do not have sensitive skin, so I do not know how this product would fair with it. I do know that the crystals are so small that it didn't feel like sandpaper, as I have found with so many other scrubs that contain walnuts, etc.
The scent is light and did not bother me.
I think this is a great product. I don't think it's necessary to use it every day, though. It takes a lot of product to cover your face and you would be going through these tubes like crazy! I think you can attain the same results by using it just a few times per week.
