Pros: Can make you feel younger, improve overall health, may eliminate specific health issues
Cons: Lids wear out on shake cups,a little pricey, altho you get what you pay for
Reliv now has been in our family now for a little over a year. We use Reliv Now versus Reliv Classic, because it tastes much better than Classic. This is billed as a "dietary supplement". Not a miracle drug, not a pain killer, not a fix-all.
My wife suffers from pre-menopausal symptoms, including IBS, mood swings, night sweats, forgetfullness, and low energy. If she does not have two shakes a day for a week or so, these symptoms rear their ugly heads. While on Reliv, these symptoms are minimized. They do not go away, but are manageable. She stops taking Reliv sometimes just to see what will happen because she's feeling so good, and whap, she feels crummy again. OK. So give the body proper nutrition, and it works better.
I have psoriasis on my face and scalp. When I stop taking Reliv for a week, it comes back and my face peels and turns a bright red. My energy levels are higher on Reliv. I'm 50, and feel like I'm about 39 or so.
I would imagine that individuals that eat a very well balanced diet would see less positive effects from this supplement. I am not a physician or nutrition expert, this is just a hypothesis from observed results.
I know many success stories from people that use Reliv- The epileptic that no longer needs meds for seizures, the diabetic that is off insulin, the migraine sufferer that no longer needs meds to ward off those painful episodes, the chronic fatigue sufferer that is now up and going strong... None of these results are promised by the Reliv organization. They do promise a 30 day money back guarantee, however. You won't get that with vitamin pills from the corner vitamin shop.
You can take Reliv with a variety of liquids. We use iced tea, milk, water, or orange juice. All taste pretty good. Reliv's sports drink Innergize! should be mixed with the Now, as it aids in absorbtion, and makes it taste even better. I've been known to even mix the Now for kids with the adult Now, for a chocolate shake flavor that I find very good.
My wife and I both have increased to three or four shakes a day when we feel a cold coming on. Instead of that aggravating week long cold where you feel like crap for about 3 days, ours usually will last a day or so, and it is gone. This has happened twice for both of us in the last year, so we believe in it.
I am not a distributor. Merely a user that believes in the product. We no longer take huge vitamin pills that are hard to swallow. The shakes taste good. We feel better than usual. HHmmm. Reliv is a no brainer in our household.
