Reading some of the previous reviews, I wondered what the bottoms of my set had to say. I received them as a gift from my parents when I got my first apartment in college (1995), so they have a few years on them. Looking at the bottom, I saw the expected brand stamp (18-Revere Profile-01), and CLINTON, ILL, USA - making them USA-made, and local to boot.
The saucepans (1 quart and 1.5 quart) have been used almost daily since I received them, for anything from heating soup and ramen (in my college days), to vegetables and sauces once I really learned how to cook. They are just as sturdy now as they were on day 1 - handles firmly attached, lids and lid-handles tight, stainless interiors glistening. A quick go with a green Scotchbrite and a salt/vinegar paste restored the copper bottoms to like-new.
The 9" skillet is rarely used since I discovered cast iron, but it was used several times per week for several years. It's still in excellent condition. I'd probably use it more often, but I have found - like several other reviewers - that scrambled eggs and omelets tend to stick stubbornly, seemingly leaving more in the pan than on the plate. So, now it's used as an "emergency backup" when I need a third skillet.
The 4.5 quart pot is my standard pasta maker, and was my soup pot until I got a cast-iron dutch oven. Has always performed admirably and cleaned up well. One of the handles is slightly loose, but nothing that affects function.
All have been through countless dishwasher cycles, and I'm certainly glad that I have them.
