Pros:Looks good, heats evenly
Cons:Nonstick is nonsense
The Bottom Line: It is extremely durable and will look good and last for years, but has very little non stick ability.
I had tired of trying to cook on our old set of Revereware about five years ago (everything stuck like glue), so I asked my mother when she had bought it. When she replied that she had had the cookware longer than she had had me, I decided that it was time to purchase a new set. Yes, the old set still looked fairly good, and cooked well, the fact that everything you cooked on it stuck to the pan was a real problem. I mistakenly thought that a new set would have better nonstick abilities. Imagine my surprise when the same thing happened with the brand new set! Reverware looks good and cooks well, but if your biggest concern is how well it keeps food from sticking, you should probably pass on it. I have to add, I recently spotted an ad in a K-Mart flyer for a seven piece set of cookware from Mirro that cost ten dollars, and bought it. It works better than the Reverware set that cost six times as much, and has a much better nonstick quality. Goes to show you don't always get what you pay for.
