Pros: Good staying power compared to most lipsticks, relatively inexpensive
Cons: It does fade and transfer a little
The Bottom Line: This is a very good lipstick that stays in place better than most.

I don't wear a lot of makeup and I seldom wear lipstick because I find that it lasts about an hour on me before disappearing, shorter if I eat, drink, or kiss. So, what was I supposed to do about lipstick at my own wedding?
I had hired a makeup artist, but I was not wild about her lipsticks, so I decided to do a little research on the "long lasting" lipsticks. I discovered that most of these lipsticks are very drying and end up making my lips look wrinkled. One notable exception to this was Revlon Colorstay Lipcolor.
This product went on smoothly and evenly. I did not feel like I was taking skin off. I followed the instructions on the package, which say to not blot. I let the lipstick set for about half an hour and went about my business. I forced my (then) fiancee to kiss me (he hates lipstick), had lunch, and drank a cup of tea.
I was impressed. The color hardly transferred at all during the smooch. It faded just a little from eating, but quite a bit of it came off on my tea cup. Still, there was a little left on my lips, and my lips were not dried out.
I still sometimes use this product today and continue to get above average results. I have put it on in early evening, forgotten to check to see if I need a touch up, and found it mostly intact that night when I went to wash my face.
It is relatively inexpensive, I got on sale for about $7. It would be better if it came in more colors, but most skin tones should find something usable.
Compared to most others, this is a very good product.
