| alison12's Full Review: Revlon Colorstay Lipliner |
I'll confess...I've got a bathroom full of lipsticks, foundations, and perfumes that are rarely used. Sadly, most beauty products look better in the package than they do on me.
However, Revlon Colorstay products are a dream come true. This is the best line of reasonably-priced cosmetics I've come across in awhile.
One thing to keep in mind about the Colorstay line is this: they stay put because they aren't "oily". I've got moderately dry skin. The first time I used the Lipcolor, I didn't apply a balm first. Big mistake...it was like putting a thin layer of "powder" on my lips - yuck!
I've since learned the trick to making Lipcolor feel good and stay put for up to 6 hours, even after eating and drinking:
1. Apply lip balm
2. Rub it in
3. Line the lips
4. Apply Lipcolor
5. Blot
6. Apply 2nd layer of lipcolor
7. Blot
This method will make the product feel good against your skin, as well as lasting throughout the day. Great product.
