I don't buy new foundation very often, but when I do it's a major decision for me. I stay in the store for a long time deciding on just what brand, what qualities I want in a foundation. Another big thing I look for is price. I want something high quality, but low in price. Color is another thing, something I can test and sample. I want something that has the closest match to my skin color as possible. Does the foundation last? Can I try the color on my hand in the store? These are the specific questions I was asking myself when I went to the store. My boyfriend and I were going out to the bar, and I needed a foundation that was going to last until 3:00 in the morning. I decided to go with Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup. The main reason for going with this foundation is the fact that it's a color stay product.

My thoughts on Revlons claims about Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup are I have not noticed that this formula rubs off once it's dry, but I have noticed that with rubbing (for purpose of this review of course) You can notice the color coming off a little bit, but of course that is not "normal activity".

Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup contains: an active ingredient of titanium dioxide and it has 7.4 %. I'm sorry I don't see the rest of the ingredients on the bottle, but I will update this review when I find the rest.
When I first applied Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup I quickly found out I had to do it fast! It's good to rub your foundation in in one direction. Once the color is rubbed in it's hard to change the direction of the color. Since this color is colorstay it really does stay, but you don't want it to stay unless the color looks natural and the best way to make it look natural is to rub in one direction. I like to put a few dots on my face, and rub down. You should only put a few drops on half the face at one time. Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup isn't good to get new your eyebrows. That was my mistake. I got it too close to my eyebrows, and the color wouldn't come out! So next time I apply this I'll remember to keep this away!
I really like Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup because it's a great makeup that really does stay. Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup comes with so many different colors so You should be able to get the pefect shade for your skin. It's great to go out on a date with this foundation, or for a long day at work. Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup has a SPF 6 sunscreen in it. This product is also oil free. That means no animal, no vegetable or no mineral oil.
I dislike the following qualities about Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup is it says fragrance free, but it has a really strong sweet smell to it. You can't smell it with daily wear but applying it you can. If you smell directly in the bottle it's a sickning smell for me. Another thing I don't like about it is it dries way too fast. It's hard to rub it in with out having streaks or imperfections unless you do a part of your face at a time. You have to rub your makeup on in one direction otherwise you can see the strokes of color going in different directions.
Revlon Colorstay Oil Free Makeup is a great product to use if your going on a date. It is also a great product to use for every single day, but if you have a lot of time to get ready because the application time is great. You have to make sure the color looks perfect because it will stay on *all* day, and that might not be a good thing if you have lines from application in every which way because the color dried too fast, ands your application wasn't perfect. I recommend it to everyone because I believe this color everyone should try because every women needs a foundation that lasts a long time for special events. Make sure you don't get a color that is too light because you will be able to see the color in your pores. Make sure the color is closest to your skin color as possible because the closer to your skin color the more natural the finish.
special FAQ
Since there was some special question about my review I decided to add another paragraph...
Did this cause breakouts or irritation?
Nope None Yet!
What is the finish like when this dries?
The finish really depends on how you apply it. If you apply it in one straight direction, You get a nice powdery finish, but if it dries too soon You get a streaky unnatural finish.
Do you need to use a lot of powder while wearing this?
I usually put a drop of powder on after a foundation. I guess this really depends on your prefrence. I put powder on by routinue.
Is it easy to wash off?
I use a makeup remover and a cleanser. It's easy for me to wash off because I have a makeup removing rountine :)
