I've been addicted to Revlon's Skinlights products for about a year now, so when I saw Revlon's High Dimension Mascara, which seemed to be Skinlights for eyes, I bought a tube. Although it does add a touch of glimmer to my eyes, it also adds a bit of glitter-to my eyeball!

First, the basics: Revlon's High Dimension Mascara, according to their website, is meant to add shimmer to your lashes using a revolutionary light-play technology. Basically, there's what appears to be tiny bits of glitter in the mascara, which then makes your eyelashes seem to have multi-tonal color. The product should glide on smoothly, be clump free, and not smudge. It isn't waterproof, but safe for contact wearers. It's also supposed to last for 10 hours.
The product comes in four new colors: Black Flash, Black Garnet, Black Sapphire, and Bronzed Brown. None of the colors are your traditional black or brown, but pretty much something in between.
Revlon's High Dimension Mascara comes in a black tube, with cool, shimmery lettering. I assume the lettering is meant to shine like your eyelashes soon will after using the product. The brush is actually square-like, which is a little different from your typical mascara applicator. You won't be applying mascara quite the same way as before, but it's meant to add to the multi-dimensional effect. You get .25 fl oz. of mascara in every tube. Revlon also makes a matching eyeliner, which can only add to the effect of high dimension.
So, what do I think after using this product. Well, I love how the product looks on my eyelashes. When I'm going out for the night, like for a New Year's party or something like that, and I want my eyes to look extra special, I will use Revlon's High Dimension Mascara. It goes nicely with my other Revlon products, and makes my hazel eyes look nice. I purchased the Bronzed Brown color, which is a lighter brown, and definitely bronzy color.
The best part about the product is that it definitely doesn't smudge. I can "forget" to take my mascara off at night, and I don't look like a raccoon in the morning. It also comes off very easily, with no extra scrubbing. My lashes don't feel cakey with the product on either. And, I haven't had any problems with clumping.
My big problems with Revlon's High Dimension Mascara is the fact that I seem to get some of the glimmer in my eyes. I don't know if it's the tiny bits of glitter, or just the mascara itself, but every time I wear it, a little bit ends up on my eyeball. It's usually a piece so small I can barely even see it. It's not irritating enough for me not to wear the product on occasion, but enough that I don't wear it on a regular basis.
Of course, the plus side of this problem is that because it's smudge proof, I don't end up with mascara under my eyes when I try to rub out the glitter in my eye. Of course, it does make my eyes water, which usually means my eyeliner runs *laugh* But, no mascara!
Overall, I do like Revlon's High Dimension Mascara. The color is very nice, and it adds just the right amount of sparkle to my lashes. It's easy to apply, easy to remove, and looks great in-between. So, if you don't mind a little irritation while wearing, then this might be something you would like to try. Not everyone seems to have this problem, so don't just take my word for it. I would beware though, if you wear contacts, as this could cause extra problems for you.
I am giving this product three stars, because of the potential for eye irritation. I am going to recommend it, though, because it is a good product, and others have not had the same problems as I had. Remember, this is based on my own personal experience of the product, and every person may have a different experience.
