In my attempt to become more of a girl (hee hee), I decided to attempt to wear make-up more often, especially now that it is winter time and my face is a little pale. I started to use mascara every once in awhile, and found that it would clump on my eyelashes and they wouldnt actually curl with the brush. So I remembered that my mother used to use an eyelash curler and I set out to find one.
I received a coupon for $1.00 off any Revlon product and found this Revlon Professional Eyelash Curler in Walgreens on sale for 15% off. I have never had any problems with any previous Revlon products, so thought this would work well.
Revlon claims that this Revlon Professional Eyelash Curler creates instant eye-opening curl.
This specific curler comes in a contoured design, which allows the curler to fit up close to the lash line. You can use this curler on your lashes whether or not they have mascara on them or not. An extra curl pad is included in this package along with the one already included on the curler, and more can be purchased at an additional price.
Using this small tool is very easy. All you have to do is open the curler and insert your lashes in between the two curl loops. Then close the curler near the upper lash base and gently squeeze the two curls together. Hold your lashes in curler for 5 seconds, then release them. Apply your mascara soon after that.
~*~ My Thoughts ~*~
So far, I have not had any problems using this curler. It works well and was cheap enough for the amount of time that I actually use it. My lashes easily fit in between the open ends of the curler. The curler ends are curved, which allows it to easily create long-lasting curl to my lashes.
I usually rub my eyes during the day, but I can still detect some curl by the end of the night when I am washing my face. If you find that your lashes do not curl with the first try, you can always use the lash curler again to provide some extra curl.
You can buy these Revlon beauty products at most drug stores, and online at Drugstore.com. They do have the same exact one as this online, and they have another that is basically the same. CVS.com also carries a few Revlon curlers. I bought this curler at Walgreens for $2.39 after all the sales and coupons.
Revlon also offers a lifetime guarantee with this curler. Thats something which was pretty unexpected to read with a non-expensive beauty product. Revlon will replace or repair at no charge if implement fails due to defective material or workmanship.
Overall, this curler works well and I have not had any problems with it. Its definitely recommended by me.
